Welcome to Your Weekly Horoscope!

After the intense few weeks with Mars square Jupiter, Mercury square Pluto, and Pluto turning retrograde in Aquarius until October 16th, this week brings a much lighter vibe. If you’ve experienced the heaviness of recent days in your body, your relationships, or mental health, you’ll find that this week offers a much-needed slowdown and a chance to reset.

That doesn’t mean nothing is happening – quite the opposite, because what is happening this week has a quality of ease and flow rather than friction and pressure.

The week begins under the influence of the Sun in Taurus, forming a beautiful sextile to Jupiter in Cancer on May 11th. This is one of the warmest, most expansive transits of the month. Taurus and Cancer are both signs that understand the value of what is real, nourishing, and worth building slowly and carefully. When the Sun sextiles Jupiter across these two signs, there is a sense of something aligning in a particular way that makes us feel, somewhere beneath the noise of everyday life, that things are finally moving in the right direction.

On Wednesday the 13th, Mercury in Taurus sextiles Jupiter in Cancer — this is a second, more mental and communicative wave of the same energy we experienced on Monday, 11th. What began as a feeling on Monday finds its words (Mercury) by Wednesday. This could manifest as a conversation, new ideas, or news that arrives midweek, carrying a genuine sense of meaning and potential. Mercury in the fixed sign Taurus thinks carefully and speaks deliberately, and when it sextiles expansive Jupiter, what it communicates tends to land with warmth and resonance. This is a wonderful time to have important conversations, share ideas that have been on our minds with others, and make decisions that could lead to interesting opportunities.

Thursday the 14th brings the Sun and Mercury Cazimi conjunction at 23° Tauru. This is a build-up towards the Taurus New Moon. This is when the mind and the sense of self align, and what you are thinking about most is also what you are most identified with right now. This conjunction in Taurus has a grounded, practical quality. It is not scattered or restless, but focused and intentional and what becomes clear to us on this day is worth paying attention to.

Then the energy deepens toward the end of the week. On Saturday the 16th, Mars conjuncts Chiron in Aries at 28°, and this is without a doubt one of the most tender and significant transits of the week. Mars is the planet of action, drive, and assertion, while Chiron, the wounded healer, is the placement in our birth chart where our deepest wound lives alongside our greatest capacity for healing and wisdom. When Mars meets Chiron, the wound is activated, not to reopen it painfully, but to finally bring enough energy and courage to it for something to actually move. This conjunction motivates us to act even when we’re wounded, rather than waiting for the pain to heal. It’s about doing things that may feel vulnerable, challenging, or tied to old hurts — and then, on the other side, realising we’re more resilient and capable than we realised.

On the same evening, the New Moon in Taurus arrives at 25°57’, and it does so in one of the most grounded and genuinely beautiful signs of the zodiac. New Moons are always connected to new beginnings, the seeds planted in the dark that will grow over the coming weeks and months. However, a Taurus New Moon has a particular quality of rootedness and intention. Taurus understands that what lasts is built slowly, with care, with patience, and with a clear sense of what is truly worth investing in. This New Moon is a wonderful time to consider what we want to build and grow, and whether we are ready to commit to a goal that will grow over time.

The week concludes with Mercury moving to the air sign Gemini, bringing a significant shift in mental energy, especially after weeks of Mercury in Taurus — slow, deliberate, careful — our minds suddenly quicken. Gemini Mercury is curious, fast, and hungry for connection and information. This is when our ideas tend to multiply, and the world suddenly feels more interesting and more alive. Also on the same day, Venus in Gemini forms a harmonious sextile with Chiron in Aries, bringing a healing influence to our love sphere, relationships and connections.
